He was a painter and graphic artist in Munich. Reinhold was a pupil of his father of the Art Schools Knirr, Azbé and Löhr and the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf under P. Janssen son of Cajetan Schweitzer a history painter (1844 Munich -1913 Ebda) brother of Alfred Schweitzer.
