Eugène Deshayes was a french painter from Paris. He is the pupil of his father, the painter and lithographer Jean Éleazard Deshayes. He exhibited at the Salon from 1848 to 1867. With a sensitivity close to those of Eugène Boudin or Jean-Baptiste Camille Corot, he painted mostly Norman landscapes. Several works by Deshayes can be visited in Museums in France like the famous Museum Louvre or Musée d’Orsay in Paris.
